Well, as you can see, it's been a while since my last post. I moved to a new home and didn't realize how much work is involved! It was good to finally pick up my pastels again and get back to work. I was able to get away recently for a long weekend to my favorite beach in Avalon, New Jersey and found new inspiration in this, a simple fence line on the dunes. I love walking along the beach at sunset with all those long, deep shadows that are created. What better time of year to paint the beauty of our shores than the beginning of summer!
